Weathering The Storm

This autobiography of former Central Bank of Kenya Governor Andrew K. Mullei first came to his mind when the then-Attorney General of the Republic of Kenya arraigned him in court, to answer charges that he had committed a crime by appointing four consultants to work for the CBK without following the laid-down procedures. Although these consultants had been hired properly and procedurally to investigate allegations of a flagrant breach of banking laws, Mr Mullei endured a challenging prosecution until, after a one-year trial proceeding, he was acquitted and fully vindicated.
