Rev. Dr. Mwesigwa Samuel Wagaba
MWESIGMWA SAMUEL WAGABA is a man of many hats. He is a father, pastor, director, teacher, and speaker who has made a significant impact on tens of thousands of people in the past eighteen years. Rev Samuel has travelled to thirteen countries, speaking to religious leaders, government officials, youth groups, students, and congregations, inspiring them with wisdom from the word of God and his life story.
Rev Mwesigwa’s journey began in Buziika Village, Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District, Uganda where he was born into a family of five as the second child, raised by Pastors Isaac and Rebecca Wagaba. At the age of thirteen, he discovered his purpose after being insulted by a friend at school. This incident led him to read a Bible passage (Ephesians 3:18-20) that brought a turning point in his life’s pursuits.
Rev Mwesigwa attended several schools, including Butema Church of Uganda Nursery and Primary, Spire Rd Primary School, Nyenga Boys Primary School, Jinja Senior Secondary School, St Peters High School Jinja, and Jinja ModernSecondary School.
He later joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM) for Discipleship Training and earned his Bachelor’s in Bible and Theology from the East Africa Theological University in Nairobi, Kenya. Due to the calling upon his life, Rev Mwesigwa founded and is the senior Pastor of River of God Full Gospel Church Pallisa and is the founder of Kerith Ministries Uganda (KMU), which he established with his wife, Mercy. He serves as the Eastern Regional Overseer of the Full Gospel Churches of Uganda, the Assistant Director of Canaan Children’s Transit Center, the Chairperson of the Pallisa Pastors Fellowship, the Uganda Liaison for A Light to the Nation, and the Africa Director for Face to Faith Ministry.
Rev Samuel is married to the beautiful Mercy Waithara Mwesigwa, who serves as a co-Pastor at River of God Full Gospel Church Pallisa and the Director of Kerith Ministries. Together, they have four children: Don Mwesigwa, John Mark Mwesigwa, Hadassah Mwesigwa, and Rebecca Mwesigwa.
Rev Mwesigwa continues to aim to strengthen the body of Christ through teaching Holistic Health Living as scribed in the word of God. His mantra is “The mystery of human existence lies not in just staying alive but in finding something to live for.” Rev Mwesigwa’s life and ministry are remarkable, and he continues to inspire people from all walks of life through not only his words but actions too.
