The Leader Within

THERE ARE BILLIONS of us on the planet, and if each of us understood our power and leadership potential the world would be a better place. Through media and socialization, we are often erroneously led to believe that leadership is a quality gifted to a limited few who either have charisma or connections. While we have some great leaders, who have reshaped communities and industries by challenging the status quo or creating something new, leadership is not about a position or a podium.

I am purposed to activate the leader within my clients and people who cross my path through my many experiences as a teacher, lecturer, mother, and wife. There is a leader in all of us, but most people are not aware. Leadership is not the domain of what they perceive in the leaders of the world. Leadership is as private as it is public. It starts within and radiates outward. Embracing the leader in us can change the world, it can make an impact and powerfully move from a small world to a bigger world.

Leadership is a complex role that involves technical knowledge, people skills, and skills you can't plan for as situations arise. I see a world where we network with each other, from various parts of the world, like we are doing now. Leadership is largely a mental role that needs constant learning to stay effective, which is why reading The Leader Within is key.
