Lucy Macridis

Lucy Macridis is a hotelier by profession with over 30 years of Customer Service expertise in sales and marketing. She has worked in both local and international hospitality enterprises. Lucy is a founding member of the Kenya Association of Women in Tourism where she helps young girls in hospitality institutions. She guides them through personal and professional leadership skills. She is also a past President of Skål International which promotes business and friendship. It is the only international group that unites the whole world when it comes to travel, tourism, and hospitality. Lucy was the first Kenyan African woman to be president of the Nairobi Chapter. She sits on the Board of the Kenyatta International Convention Centre.

She is proudly part of this iconic building institution in Nairobi. She chairs the Marketing, Public Relations, and Projects Committee. Lucy’s contribution notably places women in leadership on the African hospitality map and provides a great role model for youth demonstrating that dreams can be realized in tangible ways that build communities. She is blessed to be a loving mother, wife, sibling, aunt, grandma, and friend.
