Hussaini Asega

HUSSEINI ASEGA born in a rural village in West Nile Region of Uganda. He grew up with his mother who sparked the interest in growing plants by getting him to take care her tomato plants. From there, it grew into a love for farming and the belief that farming is an option for everyone, no matter how small a piece of land they have.

Having obtained his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture at Makerere University and worked in various farming sectors during his studies, learning as much as he could during this time. Husseini travelled to Israel to learn about farming, his expertise is irrigation systems and his knowledge on farming and find solutions to farming problems is his gift.

This book is about sharing not only his vast knowledge on the subject with people; Husseini hopes to inspire others to believe in their ability to achieve their goals and dreams through farming. This book is about how to start and run a farm, but it is also about how to find your path in life and achieve success.

No matter where you come from, where you are right now, Asega believes that we can all be a part of Farming Africa 365.
